So, this isn’t my first workout, but it is the first one I am putting on this blog.

Today I did 2 sets of 20 full push-ups and 2 sets of 20 close squats, where your heels are very close together. I’ve gotten to where I can do the squats with my heels 4 inches apart, and if everything moves smoothly along I will be able to do them with my heels touching by next week. This will be a big deal to me because I’ve been working towards that for almost 5 weeks now.

I’m following the guidelines set out in Convict Conditioning by Paul Wade. Maybe I’ll write something about this book later, but at the moment I am tired and eyeing a bowl of black beans simmering on the stove.
